Back to it!

"Education would be much more effective if its purpose was to ensure that by the time they leave school every boy and girl should know how much they do not know and be imbued with a lifelong desire to know it." -- William Haley

I find this quote inspiring. As teachers and reading specialist it is not merely our job to train students and send them on their way. It is our job to guide them and instill in them a lifelong love of learning, to send them out into the world always curious and always eager to learn more.

Well, we are almost done. One more project to go which I am looking forward to because I can put all the paraprofessional mentoring activities to go use on the Professional Development project.

I hope you all have a nice spring break. The kids and I had a fantastic time in China. It was simply amazing and if you ever have the opportunity to go I highly recommend it.

See you all in two weeks,

Kate

  1. If I didn't know you, I would have thought you've been teaching for a long time! Your insight represents a genuine educator! Any position relative to students and their education is the perfect place for you. Any student, faculty, or administration would be blessed to have you in their school or establishment.

YES...ALMOST THERE!!! I can't wait to sit by you and the rest of the 'Inner Circle' on May 31st!!!
