Coming Down the Home Stretch

I can't find the quote but I'll try my best to sum it up. When you stop progressing, you in essense are digressing. Our goal in whatever we do should be to get better but if you're not working towards getting there, you're not fulfilling your potential. If you don't fulfill your potential, you're going backwards. That's pretty much the gist of it.

We got two more weeks! It's gone by so fast!

  1. Hello Alan. Since this quote found a 'soft spot' in my heart, I was able to find it for you.

"He who is silent is forgotten; he who does not advance falls back; he who stops is overwhelmed; out distanced, crushed; he who ceases to grow becomes smaller; he who leaves off, gives up; the condition of standing still is the beginning of the end."
    --Henri Frédéric Amiel

I have definitely grown out of my silence; my overwhelming emotions of not advancing; my crushed distance; my stalled growth; and my idle moments. I've learned from my particular experience, and it has made me a stronger person. In the end, you will come to appreciate times of frustration when it has changed you into a stronger person.

Best of luck in all your endeavors!!!
