I have learned so much just from listening to other people's life stories. I always have my ears open, life is one learning opportunity after another. Every person I have met has affected my life in some way. Whether it was good or bad didn't matter because I still learned something from them.
I enjoyed the short session tonight even if it took me longer to drive up to UOG. Sheila we missed you and your input which is always insightful. Good luck tomorrow with your appeal.

Kate, thanks for the well wishes. You made me think of something towards my appeal. You're right, we always encounter someone that we will learn from. Whether good or bad, we learn something. This appeal reminded me of why I became a teacher. I had a terrible encounter with a teacher when I was younger, and I always said that one day I would be a teacher - one that was nothing like her. I promised not to do things or treat students the way she did. Now, I'm learning it all over again. This appeal made me an even better teacher for I shall never do or treat my students the way this professor did me. Thanks for the reminder and the warm wishes.
